West Roxbury's Corey Street Farmers Market has a new location in 2014 and a greatly expanded list of vendors and products, including several New England farms bringing fresh fruits, vegetables, herbs, meat, and dairy and more; fish and seafood from Cape Cod that's out-of-this-world fresh; and specialty items such as baked goods, jam, honey, artisan cheese, hummus, and other delicious, healthy and locally-made products. CSA farm shares can be picked up during market hours -- meat and produce and a CSF (fishery share) for fish as well as baked goods. Also new in 2014, SNAP clients can use their EBT cards and get up to a $10 discount on purchases through the Boston Bounty Bucks Program.
More than just a farmers market, West Roxbury's Corey Street Farmers Market is a weekly event with live entertainment, demonstrations, food trucks, and fun activities for all ages -- from face painting to chair massages!
