YOU can vote!

Any Jew who is 18 years or older by June 30, 2025, who is a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident in the U.S., and who has not voted in the November 2022 Knesset election in Israel - and will not vote in any Knesset election before July 28, 2025 - is eligible to vote in the US Election to the 39th World Zionist Congress (WZC).

The WZC is an international body, democratically elected, that has power in shaping the direction of Israel and World Jewry, as elected representatives have say over the allocation of $1 billion annually.

The WZC meets every five years, and it is meeting this year, in October 2025. Until May 4, 2025, any Jew who meets the above criteria can vote in the US Election to the WZC.

Our movement, Reconstructing Judaism, endorses the Hatikvah: Progressive Israel Slate in this election.

The Reconstructionist movement has very informative resources on the WZC and on the Hatikvah slate in particular. Here is a link the movement's page on the WZC, and I encourage everyone, when thinking about the WZC, to make use of the movement's educational resources, linked on the page above. Also on the page above is a link to the page where you can actually cast your vote in the US Elections.
