HBT ADULT BAR/BAT MITZVAH GROUP FORMING FOR 2015-2016
Did you miss the opportunity to celebrate a bar or bat mitzvah when you were 13?
Or perhaps you had a ceremony and now feel like something was missing?
Rabbi Penzner will be leading a group of adult women and men in preparing for a group b'nai mitzvah event, to take place in the fall of 2016.
Beginning in October 2015, we will meet every other week to learn about the Shabbat service and what it means, discuss the Torah portion and develop skills such as chanting from the Torah and haftarah.
Possible meeting times will be Sunday early evening or Thursday late afternoon.
Our first two groups, in 2004 and 2006, were joyous celebrations for the participants, their families, and the entire HBT community.
