Selichot Program - Crafting Your Kavanah (Intention) for the Year

Reconstructionist communities Dorshei Tzedek, Hillel Bnai Torah, and Shir Hadash are gathering together for an evening of learning, song and ritual to prepare for the new year.  The evening will include a popular workshop led by CDT member Laurie Goldman, using the power of Hebrew language to discover our personal inspiration and guidance for 5777 (no Hebrew knowledge necessary!).  We will also join together with music of the High Holydays and a Selichot ritual to prepare our minds and souls for the season of teshuvah, turning.

Laurie Goldman, Ph.D. has paid close attention to words and the lessons they illuminate as a researcher, organizational consultant, community activist, and Torah learner.  She teaches in the Department of Urban and Environmental Policy and Planning at Tufts University.
