Temple HBT welcomes Mirko Chardin. His life experience with the criminal justice system informs his work as a public school principal in Cambridge and as a racial equity trainer for Boston Latin. He is the head of the Putnam Ave. Middle School. Chardin trains middle-school students to use restorative justice practices to resolve conflicts through mediation. This approach avoids disciplinary procedures that contribute to the school-to-prison pipeline.
