HBT will again be offering Parenting Through A Jewish Lens (PTJL), a six-part Sunday morning program created by Hebrew College and subsidized by Combined Jewish Philanthropies.
This year's class will continue where last year's class left off and our own Rabbi Barbara Penzner will be teaching!
PTJL is a special opportunity to get to know other parents in the community as we discuss the teachings and values of Jewish life, and how we live and teach them to our children.
Plus, child care is provided in the building at no extra cost.
Classes will start on Sunday, November 3 and will meet twice each month in November, December and January.
This year's topics are:
1. Parenting for Resiliency
2. Parenting for Responsibility
3. G-d Talk and Spirituality
4. Making Space for Self-Expression and Spirituality
5. Fostering a Connection to the Land of Israel
6. Hopes and Dreams for Our Children
Register by June 30 and save $20 off registration. We welcome everyone, regardless of religious identification or background, and encourage couples to take the course together.
