“Pride Weekend” Shabbat morning, June 13 10:00- 11:30 AM

In this  Anniversary year celebrating 50 years since the merger of Beth Hillel of Mattapan and Beth Torah of West Roxbury and 25 years with Rabbi Penzner's spiritual leadership, HBT is setting aside a special shabbat to celebrate our embrace of LGBTQ+ inclusiveness and how this has shaped our fabulous Jewish community

We will hear from a speaker from Keshet and celebrate the wonderful LGBTQ+ members and allies in the HBT community with readings for Pride, songs, prayers, and the Torah reading, Shelach Lecha, about the brave scouts who believed in reaching the Promised Land, regardless of the challenges involved
