The Allen J. Worters Annual Memorial lecture honors the pursuit of Jewish learning at Temple Hillel B’nai Torah, with its mission of promoting adult education which is accessible to all, by providing a multi-dimensional exploration of Jewish identity reflecting top-notch Jewish scholarship.

Menstrual justice is about more than providing supplies. It is about school and jobs and overcoming ancient taboos about women's monthly cycles. Rabbi Barbara will interview Anita Diamant, author of the best-seller The Red Tent, about her newest book, a NY Times Editor's Choice, Period. End of Sentence. Chloe Kaufman, a recent bat mitzvah at HBT, will share the perspective of a passionate young feminist.
Anita Diamant is a novelist, journalist, essayist, and the author of five guidebooks to contemporary Jewish life. She was born in Brooklyn, New York and grew up in Newark, New Jersey until she was twelve years old when her family moved to Denver, Colorado. To read more about Anita click HERE

After the interview, the community is invited to stay with Paula from 5:00 - 6:00pm to celebrate her and her many contributions, from the original Our Bodies, Ourselves to her research about American Jewish feminist Ernestine Rose.
All are welcome to a friendly gathering to wish Paula well.
