Temple HBT parking lot
HBT will provide pizza, cold drinks and dessert
Bring: yourselves, a blanket for you and your family to sit on, and a veggie/dairy side dish or dessert if you'd like. If you'd like to bring $5-10 to help defray costs, we'll accept that before sunset- if not, no worries.
Children 2-11 and anyone else who is unvaccinated must wear masks; masks are optional for those who are vaccinated. The event will be outside, but the synagogue building will be open for bathroom access.
We will begin at 5:45 with a short, interactive family service led by our own Rabbi Barbara, followed by community candle-lighting, Shabbat blessings, and a pizza dinner, and chatting and play time for children and adults.
We recognize that everyone may not be comfortable yet attending a program like this, but for those who are, we are excited to offer this as a low-risk way to come together as a community and celebrate Shabbat! We will be resuming our usual monthly indoor Shakin' Shabbat program during the school year as well, with dates TBD.
RSVP: by Wednesday, August 11 to Hillary
