Then this study is for you.

We delve into the strangest list ever created. It’s from Chapter 5 of Pirkei Avot (Ethics of the Fathers). The chapter riffs on the number 10: the 10 utterances with which the world was created, the 10 generations between Noah and Abraham, the 10 tests that Abraham was subjected to. But the most intriguing list is the 10 things that were created in the twilight between the end of the six days of creation and the first Shabbat. These include things iconic, such as the rainbow and the manna, strange, such as the mouth of the donkey, and obscure such as the shamir (it’s a worm). Then three things are added to the list, including the grave of Moses. Finally, strangely, a fourteenth item is added – tongs, made with tongs. It’s all strange and oddly compelling.
