Y’mei HaZikaron/HaAtzma’ut Moment for Ma'ariv

Yom HaZikaron, Israel's Memorial Day, begins at sundown on Sunday, May 12. Yom HaAtzma’ut, Israel’s Independence Day, begins at sundown on Monday, May 13. We will gather at our usual Moment for Ma’ariv time to mark the transition between these two days and the emotions they bring up for us. Our Moment for Ma'ariv service will be extended to include special prayers, reflective prompts, and the one-minute siren. We will also have an opportunity to light Yahrzeit candles together at the beginning, so please feel free to have one with you at the start of the service.
