Worship and Non-Violent Civil Disobedience Action Protesting the West Roxbury Pipeline

Worship and Non-violent Civil Disobedience Action
Protesting the West Roxbury Pipeline
in honor of Sukkot
Wednesday, October 19th at 8am
(exact location TBD)
Sponsored by JCAN--the Jewish Climate Action Network

Sukkot is a particularly appropriate time to take action in solidarity with the entire human community and all those most vulnerable to environmental disruption and climate change.

During this week, Jews are enjoined to live outside, in temporary huts, to gather 4 sacred species of the Lulav, representing different parts of the human community, to praise G-d for a good harvest. In Temple times, Sukkot was the one celebration where offerings were brought to the Temple on behalf of the entire human community.
Join us in solidarity for an interfaith worship service and civil disobedience action on Oct. 19th.
